Autumn is here with cool crisp days and falling leaves. September saw a dozen members coming together for a fun meeting. Thanks to Maria, Michele and Terri for bringing dolls to share:
In addition, Heritage Acres sponsored a First Nations Sand sculpture exhibition on the grounds. I have included photos below.
The Central Saanich Fall Fair was held over the Labour Day weekend. Terri and I had the honour of judging the children’s division of “Stuffed Fabric Creations”. Our doll club awards three prizes of $10. Each to encourage participation in the rewarding craft of creating. The entries were great:
I returned to see the fair on Sunday and it was great fun with lots of inspiration:
Well that is all I have to report this month. Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 5th, 10 am to 4pm at Heritage Acres.
On last note, our challenge titled, “Autumn/Fall Halloween “ is due for the big reveal at the November meeting.
