August 2017- Flat Dolls Reveal and Drawing Faces

The August meeting was great fun.  A very big thank you to Beverly for showing us her technique (the Riley method) of drawing/colouring faces using watercolour pencils.  As can be seen, Beverly's faces are so soft and beautiful:

 Maureen informed the club that we will be doing another "round robin" doll using the face that we are to colour, the hands that we will turn next month and the body that was handed out at the meeting for us to sew together.  In October the round robin begins, but more on this at the next meeting!

Members brought their show and tell dolls as well as the finished/unfinished flat dolls that were started in July.  A great showing:
